Trey and Kaylee’s wedding at The Hudson in Wichita was everything I imagined—intimate, emotional, and energetic. They found me on The Knot (shoutout to the internet for bringing us together!), and from the moment Kaylee and I had our consult call, I knew this wedding would be special. Her giddiness about marrying Trey jumped through the phone. I remember her sharing all the little details while juggling her studies in a Physician Assistant program. Spoiler alert: she’s now a PA! This was the most emotional wedding the Ashley Cole team has had the honor to photograph—I mean, I felt everything while editing as if I was right back there again. Emotional Moments Starting in the Getting Ready Suite

Watching Trey and Kaylee prepare for their big day felt cool, calm, and connected. Kaylee’s mom and grandmother carefully helped her with her veil and lace-detailed gown. You could feel the love radiating from the room—a beautiful moment. And then came the first looks: you could tell Kaylee’s father was one to hide his emotion, but his face lit up with pride and love as they met eyes. And Trey. His reaction during their first look was everything. Tears freely flowed when Kaylee walked down the aisle, her smile meeting Trey’s overwhelmed, genuine expression—a raw emotion that gets everyone, even the toughest ones, reaching for tissues. With their closest friends and family surrounding them, their vows mixed with teary-eyed promises. I’m still not over it.

Wrapping Up With a Memorable Reception at The Hudson

Emotional toasts had everyone laughing and crying in equal measure. The dance floor was a whirlwind of energy—a mix of touching moments during the parent dances and all-out fun as friends and family broke it down together. When the party hit full swing, Kaylee switched into her second dress—a chic little number with a big white bow on the back—and let’s say she was ready to make the dance floor her own. The night ended with a bang as guests lined up outside The Hudson, waving ribbons in celebration as Trey and Kaylee made their joyful exit hand in hand.
